If you are looking for SEL focused activities for the beginning of the school year, check out the new Calm Down Robot STEM Lab. It’s a fantastic way to engage your students in discussing and modeling strategies for calming down in the face of those strong emotions we all have (especially at the beginning of a new school year!). I can’t think of a more exciting way than using a 123 Robot to get kids talking about feelings and related behaviors.

This is a great lab to help students build skills to recognize, label, and regulate behaviors- key skills in building emotional intelligence.
