My students are researching STEM Inventors for Black History Month. After completing their research, they were challenged to create a Vex Go build of the inventor OR invention. I posted them on the classroom door. Below are pictures of what they created.

This is INCREDIBLE. How did you have kids research Black History Month? I’m definitely going to replicate this. I’m thinking of how to limit and hone my kids into the facts of each STEM inventor. Thank you for these creative ideas!!

@Anna_Blake I worked with our librarian to choose the inventors. We tried to pick a variety of ones they were currently unfamiliar with, while still throwing in a few familiar names. Attached is the page we used for them to take notes. Feel free to use it, or adapt as needed. Keep in mind, this was for 3rd grade.
