@Audra_Selkowitz Here’s the buddy activity I promised I would share from our “Supporting Sharing and Turn Taking in Center-Based Learning” discussion!
My 3rd graders read Mo Willems books “Don’t Let the Pigeon Ride the Bus” and “Let’s Go For a Drive” with their Kindergarten buddies. They created Pigeon, Elephant, and Piggie characters using their VexGo pieces. They used the art ring on the Vex 123 robot to attach pigeon. Then the Kindergarteners used the coding cards to have Pigeon drive the “bus” to pick up Gerald and Piggie. You can’t go with Mo Willems and Vex!
