Check out this 2 Part Video Series where VEX Engineer, Brandon Sidoti, introduces you to “Moby,” and talks about the choices he made when designing this years Hero Bot.
This is a great resource to share w/ students to introduce this year’s Hero Bot, and illustrate how engineers work with criteria and constraints in the design process.
In Part 2, Brandon shares ideas for how he would improve ‘Moby’ to make the robot more competitive. This could be a great conversation starter for your students or team as you start to iterate on Moby for the VRC competition!
