Just in time for CS Ed Week, our GO Competition - Mars Math Expedition VR Playground is now live and ready for your students to enjoy! This playground is a virtual version of the GO Mars Math Expedition Competition Field, with four Field Stages. There are12 different tasks students can code their VR Competition Hero Bot to complete in order to earn points in the competition!
This is a fabulous Playground for students of any level, as the variety of different tasks provides students with a naturally differentiated activity. Plus, there are numerous ways to combine the tasks to earn points - but, you have only one minute to do so, which requires students to strategize carefully. Not only does this challenge students to use their time wisely and plan ahead, it can be a valuable opportunity for your students to engage in some collaborative problem solving as they work with group mates to plan and create coding projects.
Once students have had some time to practice, you can use this Playground for a lively classroom competition! Project our GO Classroom Leaderboard to keep track of students’ scores in real time to up the excitement level even further!
