The Optical sensor for VEX IQ looks awesome! For more information check out the STEM Library article, Using the IQ Optical Sensor. I can not wait to try one out and test out the VEX IQ 2nd generation STEM Activity, Sensing Color. I can see VEX IQ Challenge teams coming up with all kinds of creative uses for the Optical Sensor to play Pitching In. Such as, using it as an object detection to detect the balls and automatically turn on a ball intake.
