We are preparing to use Vex Code Go with the Code Base. There is a teacher that does not have room on her phone to download the Vex Classroom app. We use Chromebooks and chrome based browsers. From what I read on the site, by using those browsers, the only way to update the firmware would be to use the app. Does anyone know any other way this teacher can update the firmware?

Once the teacher does the initial updating of firmware using the Classroom App, future updates of the firmware can be done directly in VEXcode. Maybe in this case the easiest thing would be for her to borrow someone else’s phone to update the firmware.
The Classroom App can be used on iPads, Android Tablets, and Amazon Fire Tablets as well. If she could borrow one of those for awhile, or maybe get someone to buy or donate one for her (Amazon Fire Tablets are only about 60 bucks right now), that would be ideal, since the Classroom App is also used for renaming and locating VEX GO Brains, and having to borrow someone’s phone repeatedly could be frustrating!
