What are the children saying about meeting their robots?

Over the course of the school year, the walls of my Kindergarten classroom would always include photos, drawings, writing samples, and (my favorite part) the words of the children in my class, that showed not only their progress in learning, but what they were thinking about and wondering about. As you are introducing VEX 123 to your students this fall, I’m so curious about what the children are thinking and wondering about as they make sense of this new robot in their classroom.

From a classroom ‘documentation’ perspective - writing or typing up some great student questions to ground a bulletin board, or transcribing a good conversation from Morning Meeting to share with parents - using the actual words of the children not only validated their agency in their learning, but also gave us all a shared reminder of what we were thinking and wondering about together.

Please share some of the questions, surprises or impressions from your students as they meet their robots this fall
